Adventure Walks – Enriching Dog Walks in Aylesbury

Adventure Walks is a premium walking service for dogs who need more than just a quick lap around the block. We plan small, structured outings to exciting locations around Aylesbury and the surrounding areas, so your dog can explore safely, build confidence, and come home happily tired.

Each adventure is tailored to your dog’s age, personality and energy level, with a strong focus on safety, mental stimulation and calm, balanced behaviour.

What’s Included in an Adventure Walk

  • Pick up and drop off from your home within our service area
  • Small, carefully matched groups or calm solo outings
  • Walks in a mix of woodlands, fields, and quiet countryside routes
  • Time for sniffing, exploring, and decompression – not rushed marching
  • Basic manners reinforced on every walk (loose lead, recall, calm loading/unloading)
  • Fresh water, towels for muddy paws, and safe travel equipment
  • Updates after the walk, with notes and photos so you can see what your dog’s been up to

All walks are led by Ross, a qualified and insured dog walker with a CPD-accredited diploma in Dog Walking and Dog Sitting, including canine emergency response training.

Group Adventure Walks

Our group adventures are designed for friendly, sociable dogs who enjoy exploring with canine friends.

We keep groups very small to make sure walks stay safe, relaxed and enjoyable. Dogs are carefully matched by size, play style and confidence level, so they can walk together comfortably.

Group walks follow structured routes with plenty of time for sniffing and enrichment, making them ideal for dogs who need more mental stimulation and variety than a standard walk.

Group adventures take place in quiet, interesting locations such as local woodlands, country trails and open fields around Aylesbury, Wendover, Tring and Princes Risborough.

Solo & Special Adventures

For dogs who prefer their own space, are in training, recovering from injury, or simply need a calmer pace, we offer tailored solo adventures.

These one-to-one walks are focused entirely on your dog. Routes are chosen to be peaceful and low-distraction, which is especially helpful for nervous, reactive or young dogs.

The pace and distance are fully customised to your dog’s needs, making solo adventures perfect for elderly, sensitive or recovering dogs who still deserve variety and enrichment.

Where We Walk

We keep our routes varied so dogs don’t get bored, while always prioritising safety and control.

Typical locations include:

  • Woodland trails and forest paths
  • Enclosed or quiet open fields
  • Country lanes and rural footpaths
  • Scenic routes around Aylesbury, Wendover, Tring and Princes Risborough

Each location is chosen for its safe access, interesting smells and opportunities for calm exploration.

Benefits of an Adventure Walk

  • Happier, calmer dog at home – mental and physical needs properly met
  • Improved confidence – especially for nervous or young dogs
  • Better manners and life skills – calm loading, loose lead, recall practice
  • Richer life experiences – new environments, smells and safe social time
  • Peace of mind for you – professional, insured and fully focused on safety

Adventure Walks gives your dog the kind of walks they’d choose for themselves: fun, enriching and safely managed every step of the way.
